"We are enjoying a great lunch at SaltWater restaurant on Friday, March 30.   I had fried oysters and they were great.  The last time I had them was at Water Street Restaurant, and I am glad I don't have to go all the way downtown to enjoy fried oysters!", wrote Gloria Waller.

Gloria Waller sent these pictures with this comment, "Here we are on Friday, February 24 at the new Bellino's Restaurant on Alameda, which used to be Shockley's Market.  They have deliciious Italian food in a charming environment.  I had spaghetti with meat sauce that was excellent with good spices.  They took out the showcase which makes room for more tables.  We all enjoyed our lunches."

Eater's Unlimited

The Eaters Unlimited Luncheon on Friday, January 27, 2012 was held at the Bistro D'Asia.  The ambiance and food were excellent, especially the soup iced tea and entrees.

Dining Out - Open to all DOs

Bonnie and Charllie Conner (of Couples Dining Out IV) arranged for an exclusive event at the Black Sheep Bistro on Sunday, January 15th.  The restaurant was open ONLY for the event and so members of all 4 Dining Out groups were invited.  Since the restaurant only holds 40 people, it was filled almost immediately - as the reservations were taken on a "first response basis".  Here are some of the people having a great time!

Dining Out I

Dining Out I begins the year with the annual "Procrastinators New Years Eve" party, held at the Schroeder's home on January 3rd.  Margie is decked out in a gorgeous glitzy dress and has a glass of wine with Pat Schotland.  Each couple brings a dish and bottle of wine and the Schroeders furnish the meat.

Roger visits with Erm Mueller.

The appetizers and desserts are served in this room.  Club Chair Jane Cheesman, Bill Cheesman and Dottie and John Hines enjoy the wine and food.

Connie Smith, Lena Maude Mueller, Glenda and Frank Tvrdik

Pat Dorsey, Nancy Gray and Joyce Seitz

Lupe Reyes and George Seitz visit.  Notice the beautiful decorations.  The Schroeder's home at Christmas is really a "show place".

The Dining Room

The table in the Living Room

The Schroeder's have Christmas china for all of the place settings and the decorations are different each year.

Each decoration on the Christmas tree is wrapped and stored individually.  They are magnificient!
