Socials & VIP
Socials are held every 6 months and vary in type. They are all FUN!!! The VIP Club has quarterly luncheons with a program. All NNL members are invited, as well as guests.
VIP Spring Luncheon
The Spring Luncheon is held at the Corpus Christi Country Club. Jean Marie Welch (on the right) is our guest speaker. She is a poet, having her own business, Personal Poetry, Inc. www.personalpoetryinc.com. Of course, we know her better as one of our own NNL/VIP members. On the left is Lakendra Lewis with the Corpus Christi Caller Times. Lakendra had written a touching article about Jean Marie and her poetry, which was published last week.

Going Away Party for Liz Gordon
Our secretary, Liz Gordon, is moving and, of course, that means a Farewell Party.
In beach attire are Cynthia Huddleston, Carole Jenness, Robin Bennett, Linda Douglas, Vicki Gaarder, Malanie Polasek, Karen Haug, Jean Marie Welch, Pat McAnear, Stephanie Wenzler and Marsha Dooley.
Oh dear! The shark has them. Hope we didn't lose them all!
"Viva Las Elvis" Social
The Spring Social is held at the Corpus Christi Yacht Club.

VIP January Luncheon
Joyce Seitz, President of the VIP Club welcomes everyone to the January Luncheon, which is held at the Corpus Christi Country Club.
Marjorie Abner entertains us at the piano during the social time. She now has a CD out. Contact her to purchase one!
Program Chair Ruth Williams introduces the Choral Director of the Carroll High School Choir, who entertained us.
These students sang several songs Acapella and in perfect pitch. It was hard to believe that they are high school students in Corpus Christi. Look for them as "stars" in the future!
