Luncheon - February 2008
Prospective Member Co-Chair Sylvia Earnst pins a corsage on Judy Labeck, a prospective member. Sylvia is decked out for Valentines with her red hat and blouse.
Dee Gregg and Margie Schroeder
Coffee Committee member Virginia Tyler wears her Valentine. It was made by her 3 great-grandchildren. What a special treat! With her are Judy, Stephanie Woytovech, Jennifer Oler, Elizabeth Fenney and Mary Reyes.
VIP President Jackie Del Nano, Communication Chair Melanie Polasek and Tammie Mathis
Marion Gholston, Billie Snowden and Imp Chair Alice Murphy make a pretty Valentine trio. It's great to see Billie, who hasn't been able to attend a luncheon in awhile. Note the little red card and 2 candy kisses in front of Marion. Terrie Bodine made one of these for each person present. They read, "Sending you Valentine wishes and chocolate kisses." What a nice thing to do, Terrie!
Here is Rose Terrie with her mother, Peggy Johnson. Peggy won the 50/50 money at the luncheon. What an extra treat!
At this table are Advisor Sarah Miracle, Tammie, Publicity Co-Chair Joan Stobie, new member Tammy Hoyt and Advisor Jo Ann Robertson. Mary Reyes has her back to the camera.
President Cherl Hinton presides at the luncheon, which is held in the Bay Room at the Town Club.
Cherl wins the birthday drawing, a bunch of fresh flowers presented to her by Membership Chair Vicki Gaarder. Isn't Vicki's flowered jacket cute?
Vice President Catalina Longoria introduces our speaker, who is ...
Scott Barber, a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones. Scott speaks on "Credit and Finance From a Woman's Point of View". He also had a gift for each luncheon attendee - a travel mirror. Thanks, Scott.
Advisor Ruby Gabelmann introduces our February Rose, Terrie Bodine.
Terrie thanks the club and introduces the people at her table, who are ...
Sanddollar Editor Marsha Baxter, Peggy, Terrie, Elizabeth Fenny, Donna Walker, Melanie, Invitations Chair Amy Pincelli (who won the Fun and Friendship award this month) and Vicki.
Cheryl pins the Rose Pin on Terrie.
Cherl, last term's Scrapbook Chair, presents last term's President Sylvia Earnst her scrapbook.
Since Cherl is a master "Scrapbooker", it looks wonderful. Sylvia will have it at the next few functions so we can all enjoy it.
