December Luncheon
![]()

Members brought toys for the Toys for Tots program. President Candy Duncan poses between Gunnery Sgt. Rudy Altamirano and Marine Cesar Bugarin with the US Marine Corp. Gunnery Sgt. Altamirano spoke about the Toys for Tots program and thanked us for our participation.

The Corpus Christi Barber Shop Harmony Society No Name Quartet performed a delightful medley of Christmas songs.

Debbie Hernandez won the birthday drawing, a pillow maybe?

Glenda Trvdik won the 50/50, which was BELIEVE IT OR NOT $50.50. She deserved some luck after having an accident that almost severed 2 of her fingers.

Carol Gigliotti, Candy, and Social Chair Jennifer Oler pose at the wine bar. The picture does NOT indicate whether they are getting wine, however. Maybe those dollars are for 50/50 tickets!

Lena Maude Muellar sports her new emerald drop from a recent trip to Cartagena, Columbia. Gloria Waller has on some beautiful antique gold jewelry that was handed down in her family.

Julie Brower and Lena Maude are in black and Advisor Jo Cheesman sports a cute blue snowman sweater, the Corpus Christi version of snow.

Membership Chair Sylvia Whitworth carries a cute tote bag and lots of gifts!

Upon entering the Town Club at the right, members are greeted by Prospective Member Chair Sally Galyon (no prospect can get away!) and cohort Susan Andrews. Then Treasurer Jana Gann collets the money and Assistant Treasurer Jane Cheesman gives out door prize tickets.

Ruth Miller brings a guest. Sally Moehrke hears about Juanita Powell's recent visit to China. Will we now have a Conversational Chinese Club?

Advisors Lettie Good and Carol Allen can be advised by VIP Advisor Ruth Williams.

Everyone is festive and bright as we all enjoy the delicious lunch.

Two views showing Marjorie Abner and Kae Martin in bright pink and Julie, Lena Maude, Julie Schultz, a new member and Treva Miles wearing always fashionable black.

Cara Stonecipher smiles as she visits with her table group.

Crystal Mead (in green) has been busy - not only at the Aquarium - but with her daughter being a debutante.

The center pieces were lovely and different at each table.

Sally has each new member tell a little about themselves.

The dessert was as delicious as it looks.

Nancy Gray won this door prize and thought it so cute that she felt it deserved a spot on the web site.
