July Luncheon

Mary Jo Cheesman is the July Rose.  At her table is her husband, Mark, and his parents, Bill and Jane Cheesman (a new NNL member).  Julie Brower is at Mary Jo's right, then Charlsie Kimbrell, Carol Allen, and in front is President, Joyce Seitz.  Kim Woodall was unable to attend and sent the lovely flowers for the table.

Kae Martin makes a toast to the camera, while Jennifer Oler, Nancy Gray, Margarie Abner,  Susie Wright, and Gerry Hackley look on.

Dr. Vaughn's staff enjoy their salads and the literature on the table.

Lyn Kitchens in pink and Glenda Fischer in blue make a pretty pair.  Maybe Grace Santana (to Lyn's left) can use them for the style show that she is doing for us from Williams Shoes.  Claudia Gaytan (to Glenda's right) does NOT look pregnant, but she is!

Evelyn Rathke and sister, Jimmie Compton, enjoy their salads, while Celeste Guernsey chats with sponsor, Coldwell Banker Pacesetter Steel's Joann Arnold, and guest/new member.

Our speaker, Louise Wasson, and King's Crossing's Membership Directory, Debi Wagner, smile for the picture.  Alice Murphy and Juanita Powell strike a pose in between them, while others peak around.

Sally Moehrke and Sylvia Whitworth sit with a visitor, Kathy Deis.

Left to right are Gloria Waller, Mollie Zick (does she EVER take a bad picture?), Margie Schroeder, Laura Larkin, Mary Cox, Dee Gregg, and Lena Maude Muellar (with back to the camera).

Left to right are Lois McCray, Candy Duncan, Glenda Tvrdik, Sue McClurg, and Debra Hernandez.  In the front are Jackie Del Nano and Maico Sanchez.

President Joyce Seitz turns mike over to Celeste Guernsey, Assistant Membership Chair, who introduces the new members.

Prospective Membership Chair, Cara Stonecipher, introduces the prospective members.  Some of them turned in their paper work at the luncheon and joined.  Way to go Chairs and welcome new members and guests.

Carol Allen introduces our Rose for the month...and...

Mary Jo Cheesman accepts the honor and expresses her thank you.  Note the pretty corsage donated by Personally Yours, Florists.

Sue McClurg, Ways and Means Chair, briefed us and passed out flyers for the "Make it or Bake it", our upcoming Fall Silent Auction.

Our speaker, Louise Wasson, Kings Crossing Fitness Director Barbie Gutierrez, and Louise's dog, Warren, get ready for the show.

We were all inspired from the moving presentation by Louise, who tells and shows us how life can change in an instant. Louise was hit by a drunk driver 10 years ago and is recovering - one day at a time.

At the close of the program, Warren is presented a medal by Debi Wagner, making him the King's Crossing honorary mascot.  Debi presented a plaque to honor Louise for all that she does for the community.
