November Luncheon

Cristina Munro, director of the Corpus Christi Ballet, introduces some of her dancers, who performed at the luncheon.  She also announced that "The Nutcracker" will be performed on December 18th at 2pm and 8pm and December 19th at 2pm at the Selena Auditorium.  Flyers, telling about the ballet, were passed out.

Because of the slippery floor, these three were not able to be "on point".

This girl did a wonderful solo.

This number was from the October production of "Let's Fall in Love".

The tap number was darling.

Sue McClure is decked out with her corsage as Rose of the Month.

President Candy Duncan gathers her notes for announcements.

Glenda Fischer, representing the Town Club, invites everyone to the Christmas Style Show, which will be 2 days this year: December 7th and 8th.

Advisor Carol Allen introduces the November Rose, Sue McClure.

Candy gives Sue the Rose pin.

Past President Joyce Seitz gives Candy a hug upon receiving the Past Presidents pin.

Pam Gordon, Club Coordinator Cara Stonecipher, Mary Jo McNinch, and Advisor Lettie Good, make a pretty group.

Marion Gholston, Margie Abner and brand new Sanddollar Editor Irene Pratap, along with Christi Cheek and Wendy Freeman, have a front row table.

Prospective Member Chair Sally Galyon (on the right) has a table full of prospective and NEW members. To her left is Donna Vickery and to her left is Sandra Richmond (talking to Mary Jo).

The Rose table has from left to right: Treva Bedwell, Marcia Mayer, Carol, Debra Hernandez, Sue, Kae Martin and Maybelle Scharm.  Mary Jo McNinch is supposed to be in the empty seat, but she ...

is at the podium inviting everyone to a party on Saturday night to raise money for C.C.A.R.E., an organization to benefit the animals of our community.

Is Sally Moehrke speaking in Spanish to Juanita Powell on her left and Donna Hamilton on the right?  Secretary Christy Rutledge (in pink) is enjoying the conversation, while taking a break from writing the minutes.

Charlsie Kimbrell (in the plaid jacket) brought her new neighbors, mother and daughter Kim and Charity Galloway (on her left).  Are Pam or Advisor Lyn Kitchens telling the funny story?

At this table, from left to right are Fil Hamilton, Social Committee member Gloria Lopez, Sunshine Chair Mollie Zick, Gloria Waller, Advisor Joyce, and Carolyn Cutbirth.

Eaters Unlimited Chair Mary Cox, has her niece (far left) as her guest.  On her right is the "other Mary" - Mary Bauer.  Bet they are inviting the guests to the great Friday "eating club".

Sisters, Evelyn Rathke and Jimmie Compton enjoy the delicious lunch with frequent guest Sharon Lester and another guest.

"Old times" Beth Rabalais, Mary Alice Steidley and Margie Schroeder are sitting with Treasurer Jana Gann and Ways and Means Chair Margery Hinterman.

Some guests join Cara, Membership Assistant Shanna Lawler, Coffee Chair Rita Albrecht and Bobbie Sue Doye'.

More guests sit with Glenda Tvrdik (in red) and (to the left) Vice President Assistant Jane Cheesman and her new neighbor, Betty Hagemeister.

We closed the luncheon with numerous door prizes, given out by Advisors:  Letty, Jane (filling in for Mary Jo Cheesman), Carol, and Lyn.  Joyce must be giving a prize to some lucky member in the audience.
