President Sally Galyon presided at the last luncheon of her term. What a great success it was - a huge crowd, delicious food, and a great program.

Sally Wakefield (formerly Moehrke) was congratulated on her recent wedding by Sunshine Chair Sylvia Whitworth and others.
Vice President Jane Cheesman introduces our speaker, the Mayor of Corpus Christi, the Honorable Henry Garrett. Mayor Garrett told of exciting things that were going on in the city. He especially expressed his appreciation of not only how the city handled the victims from Katrina, who were evacuated to our city, but the evacuation of Corpus Christi itself. He answered questions from the audience.
Sally presents the Fun and Friendship award to Social Chair, Carol Gigliotti. The Social Cruise was a huge success and she acknowledged the committee and all of their hard work.
Jane presents Sally with a gift for her hard and dedicated work as President this term.

The new Executive Board is Treasurer Mary Robinson, Secretary Rita Albrecht, Vice-President Carol Gigliotti and President Jennifer Oler.
Jennifer uses her Kindergarten Teacher experience to have the group interact with each other. Since we all loved Kindergarten, we look forward to a really fun term. (But...aren't they all!)
VIP President Jackie Del Nano invites everyone to the VIP luncheon on Tuesday, October 25 at the Corpus Christi Country Club. Gorgeous, slim Kae Martin has tickets for the Salvation Army luncheon and Style Show, which is Saturday, October 22. Kae is going to model and Sally Galyon will moderate the Style Show.
Anne Foster is the winner of the 50/50 money. With the large crowd, the money should be considerable. Way to go, Anne!
